Hi @jplytsgaard ,
At first, I think this is impossible, then I found a solution for you, although it might take some time for you to configure your product, but it’s the only way that works for your needs. Please read my instructions carefully.
For your needs, it concerns a product with two attributes (ie. color and size), then the only way for you to add them to the bundle is to type in each size for the red colored variations, ie. red-S, red-M, red-L, etc. Although WPC Product Bundles can be applied for variable products with many attributes, Product Bundles cannot disable one of the two attributes of a variable products ( as in your case, you want to disable attribute color: blue.)
One way is to manually add all sizes of red color to the bundle.
Or there is another way around, but it requires you to duplicate your products and disable one attribute variation (ie. The blue colored variations) by hand:
1. First, you can click on Edit product >> Copy to a new draft, enter a new name for this product to distinguish with its original one. In Catalog Visibility option, choose Hidden so that this product cannot be seen or purchased separately by customers outside Product Bundles.
2. Afterwards, go to Product Data section >> Variations tab, then disable or remove all blue colored shirt variations (blue-S, blue-M, blue-L).
– If you choose to disable the Blue color variations, then click on each proper variation and uncheck the box “Enabled”. In this way, these variations will still be shown in the dropdown list of the bundle option, but the Add to cart button will be disabled with these, so customers won’t be able to choose them. – If you choose to remove the Blue color variations, then proceed to click on Remove red button at the right corner of each proper variations, in this way, only red ones in all sizes will be displayed in the dropdown list of the bundle option.
Choose one of the above two ways to adjust it to your preferences.
3. The last step is to go to Smart Bundle settings, add this newly created product to the bundle, and voila, you’ve got your bundle.
This product will still display a dropdown for choosing color in the front end, but only Red color will appear, so your problem is solved, right?
Kindly read my instructions carefully to create your favored bundle. Yay, you made it.
Best regards.
