I think your theme is overriding the button’s style. Are you using any caching plugin?
Thanks so much for such a quick reply!
No I don’t think I’m using any caching plugin: I only have Akismet, All in One Seo Pack, Codestyling Localization, Google XML Sitemaps, Redirection, Shareaholic and Updraft Backup Restore. And your wonderful plugin of course.
Hi, it has been a bit quiet, so I think, but I have exactly the same problem.

theme tesseract2015
using plugins:
Black Studio TinyMCE Widget
Contact Form 7
Custom Facebook Feed
Easy Google Fonts
Lightbox Plus Colorbox
Meta Slider
Page Builder by SiteOrigin
Simple Download Monitor (of course)
SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle
Spacer
Spider Event Calender
Title Remover
WP Custom CSS
and finally Yoast SEO.
Gz&Tx in advance, HansMPL
Which page has the download monitor button?
In my case, this is the page: http://www.scritturaatuttotondo.it/cosa-abbiamo-fatto-ebook/
In the central column you may notice the words
Scarica un’anteprima – epub
Scarica un’anteprima – mobi
As you can see, the button is white.
Thank you in advance.
in my case, the page is http://actiefinligurie.nl/startpagina/overig/
There are three download-buttons: grey outline, black button-border and black hover-color.
Hope to hear…
Your theme is overriding the button’s CSS so it is ignoring the CSS that this plugin is applying. You can do a test by switching your theme to one of the default WordPress themes to check it.
