Button Doesn’t Show Up with Elementor Widget

Hello, I am using Elementor to style my single product pages. When I use the ordinary “Add to Cart” widget, then the Paypal Express Checkout button appears. However, when I use their “Custom Add to Cart Widget”, it does not. I suspect this is because the “add to cart” button is implemented differently for the latter widget. How does this plugin (Paypal Express Checkout) decide to display the button? And is there a way to do this manually somehow? Thanks!
