Hi, I tested your link above and the following URL is returning the following message. It looks like nothing was found at this location. Maybe try a search?
https://englandsnortheast.co.uk/donatenew15button/
Can you confirm you have set up the button correctly.
Thank you.
Hi,
Thank you.
I had deselected the custom button in the settings and selected one of the standard Paypal buttons (and saved). However, I had left the name of the custom button in the custom button field and it looks as though it was still attempting to find this.
After removing the name of the custom button image from the custom field, the standard button is now displaying (for now). However, this doesn’t explain why the original custom button only worked for a temporary period.
I will keep an eye on it as I am not 100% convinced it will continue to work (fingers crossed that it will) and a little bit disappointed I couldn’t get the custom button to work. Thank you very much for your response.
Hi,
and a little bit disappointed I couldn’t get the custom button to work.
Did you enter the full URL path for the custom button? For example: http://yoursite.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/image-name.png .
Let me know if the above helps you.
Thank you.
Hi,
Was just beginning to think along those lines…it wasn’t the full path that I had entered. I will try this.
Thank you.
