Button text and remember me translation problem

Dear Philsbury,

First of all thank you so much for this great plugin.
I have just one problem with this: some transaltions.

1. How could I translate (which css code) the text of buttons (Yes, No).

2. Likwise the ‘Remember me’ expression. I use avada template, and in the avada po/mo file it is translated well.

Hi Adrienn,

The best thing to do is to translate the plugin in the WordPress directory here:
https://translate.ww.wp.xz.cn/projects/wp-plugins/age-gate

Wordpress will then download the translation files for you, and anyone else using your language.

If that’s not what you want, you could create your own and save it in wp-content/languages/plugins/

Poedit is probably the easiest way to do this.

Dear Phil,

Thank you so much for your answer.
To avoid this bigger work, I tried to translate directly in buttons.php just this 2 exprissions but It worked just for a while, but once suddenly returned to English automatically. But I did not update it, so I don’t understand. Why it does not work?
And also I tried to change the translations these 2 expressions in age-gaet-an-US.po/mo file by Poedit, but also nothing.

Dear Phil,

I created age-gate-hu_HU.mo/po file from there, and uploaded into the system by FTP (deleting the US version), but nothing changed. Also in english this 2 expressions, but in the the Poedit I can see, that it is hungarian yet.
What is the problem?

Dear Philsbury,
I have the same problem in Frend : the remember me option is translate in deutch!!

So I check here :https://translate.ww.wp.xz.cn/projects/wp-plugins/age-gate
And the translation was incorrect. I have record several translation and corrected the “remenber me” sentence (french instead of Deutch)

How long after submit translation (waiting status) to have it in production?

Hi,
Thanks for this pluging.
I’ve a question.
I’ve set a french translation in the admin back office for “remember me”,”You must be over 21…” and “Submit” as “Se souvenir de moi”, “Quel âge avez vous ?” and “Valider”

Now, I need to translate the Age-gate page.

Do I need to set back the sentences in English ?
I try to, but nothing happen :/
I use WMPL and LocoTranslate. I see well the sentences and it’s well translated.

Any Ideas ?

Hi @webdigit,

Your issue looks to be slightly different here as you’re using an additional plugin, plus these strings are now editable.

I’ve looked at the code and there are currently not being translated quite right. I think I’ve fixed them and will put them into and update later this evening.

After the update, anything from WPML should work as expected. If any aren’t, do let me know.
