@allansjackson –
Did you try clicking the “Center” setting for the button a “couple times”? It is sometimes “sticky” and won’t “go” on the first try 🙂
I just set up a sample as per your link on a local site and the button centered no problem 🙂
Cheers!
Lyle
Thanks Lyle. I did try clicking a few times. I wonder if some theme setting is interfering.
Could be. I can’t really get a good handle on it looking at it with Firebug, but in the meantime, perhaps set the button to Justified … I think it looks better … and more noticeable 🙂
Well, that’s a surprise. I clicked Justify and that worked and then I clicked center and that worked too 🙂 Thanks
P.S. Do you have a preference for a slider/carousel to display portfolio posts. I’ve got a grid going using Tom’s WP Show Posts but would like to display one or more of them in pages.
Good to hear that worked! 🙂 I had forgot to mention trying one of the other layout settings as you did and then try center again 🙂
Can’t be a lot of help with sliders/carousels as I do not really care for them and haven’t used them in ages 🙂
That said, how about the Elementor Pro Portfolio widget? Mind you, it’s only displays the featured images of the posts, but it may be something to consider.
Personally, I prefer either a grid (as you have with WPSP) with excerpts and featured images or again, with WPSP, multi-columns with or without the masonry layout.
I reckon I’ll give Elementor Pro a go. Thanks very much again.
