Buttons appear but do not function

    I have installed the new version. We formerly had the WP Paypal checkout. I updated the shortcodes. Buttons appear, but when I click nothing happens. I have checked and double-checked and triple-checked the Paypal Client ID and the Secret ID. I have deactivated a security plugin. Deactivated ALL plugins except Checkout for Paypal, still nothing happened. How can I troubleshoot what is wrong here? Many thanks for your help.

    Hi, Do you have the “item_description” parameter in the shortcode?

    Hi Noor,

    Yes, you are right. That was the problem. I still had the “name” parameter in my code from the previous shortcodes from the previous version (WP Paypal). So I replaced “name” in the shortcode with “item_description”  and suddenly they all worked.
