The “buy button” is an input element so you could style it with CSS turning it into an image with the use of a background image.
You would target it though:
.mycred-content-forsale input.button { }

Changing the “Buy Now” button label in Sell Content* is not working in website front end, still shows to public “Buy Now”. But changes are ok in back-end : *add-on admin.php?page=myCRED_page_settings

If you edit the post you are trying to sell and in the “Sell This” metabox, change the button label to something new, and save, does the button label change?
Using https has no bearing on this.

But I do not wish Authors Content to change in metabox.

And you are not using any of the sell content shortcodes in the content right?
no shortcodes, because I do want Authors to change any setting at all.
In Fact I’m looking for a way to have it «on» by defaut without the need to check box.
