BWPS and Google bots

A week after BWPS was installed we got our first “Site Lockout Notification” and were very excited. Only to learn that the IP was a google bot. See below.

My concern is that this will prevent Google from properly indexing our site. Especially after reading this snippet.

FYI — current release of BWPS will block WP Remote again if Filter Suspicious Query Strings or Prevent long URL strings are active in “tweaks.”
