    Hello,

I used MailPoet for years because it was a good newsletter automation plugin. However, for the past 3 months, I’ve started experiencing strange behavior on my WordPress: a huge increase in CPU consumption, so significant that my hosting provider had to reduce my bandwidth several times, as well as a massive increase in transient files. During these 3 months, I tried to figure out which plugin was causing all these errors and, little by little, I narrowed it down to MailPoet. I stopped MailPoet and, miraculously, everything went back to normal. The 4,000 to 5,000 transient files per day disappeared and my bandwidth is doing well.

So for me, MailPoet is done, and I’m going to find a personal solution. I’m starting to get tired of all these so-called wonderful plugins that consume all my server resources. I also stopped All in One SEO and my server is doing better as well!

    Hello there @lemondupolar ,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us. I can completely understand how frustrating it must have been to see your site performance affected like that especially after spending time trying to identify the source of the issue. It sounds like you put in a lot of effort to troubleshoot and narrow things down, and I truly appreciate the clear details you’ve shared.

I’m sorry to hear that this experience led you to stop using MailPoet. While I understand your decision, if you’re ever open to giving it another try, we’d be happy to guide you through ways to optimize MailPoet for your specific hosting environment. Depending on your host’s configuration and available resources, there are several adjustments that can significantly reduce CPU usage and control how background tasks like sending and scheduling are handled.

If you’d like, we can review your setup together and provide tailored recommendations so MailPoet runs smoothly without overloading your server.

Either way, thank you again for your feedback. It’s incredibly valuable for helping us improve MailPoet’s performance and stability for all users.

Wishing you all the best with your future setup and newsletters.
