Bypass plugin with parameter ?author=1

    I use Wordfence to protect my WordPress site. Looking over some of the live traffic data with Coming Soon Page & Maintenance Mode activated in coming soon mode I noticed a few accesses to http://sitename.com/?author=1 in the listing. Trying that myself I discovered that it allows anyone to see at least part of the home page bypassing the coming soon page.

    Is there any way to prevent that from working as a bypass?

    Hi Cameron, what’s your url I just tested and I can’t reproduce this. We do exclude a few urls that contain login, admin, account in case someone changes their login url but we do not exclude urls with author in it. https://goo.gl/vYHrws
