Hi, I noticed my twitter feed hadn’t updated in 3 months.. I have W3 Cache installed on my site, I cleared it’s cache and it updated the feed. I just wondered if you’ve seen this issue before and know how to resolve it? (without me having to manually clear the cache every day..)

    Thanks, hope you can help

    Hey macpheek,

We do have a setting called “force cache to clear on interval” found on the “Customize” tab that will clear both the Twitter feed cache and all of the major page caching plugins (like W3 total cache) page caches on an interval. I think it will work for you.

Otherwise, there are sometimes ways to make exceptions for pages or decrease the amount of time the cache lasts with these caching plugins. That could work too.

    Thanks,

    Craig

Hi Craig, thanks for your reply
I can’t this setting, should I be looking in the ‘page cache’ settings?

This will be found with the “Twitter” settings after clicking “Twitter” in your dashboard. Try the “Customize” tab, “Advanced” area:
