Cache-Control header not setting max-age

    I started using the cache plugin instead of W3 Total Cache (still seeing which is better for me) and I noticed that the cache-control header only returns “public” and adds the expires header as well.

    Why is that?
    Using expires over cache-control doesn’t seem to be the best approach here.
    Could it be a bug?

    Hi there,

    Which resource are you talking about? The document, or other assets? They have different cache directives.

    Other assets. The document has “no-cache” to begin with.
