I tried using the Cache-Control plugin you mentioned with a couple of other caching plugins (WP Fastest Cache and WP Super Cache) and in all cases the Cache-Control header was removed.
With Cache Enabler you can specify a Cache Expiry time if that helps.

Hi Cody, yes that was my experience also. Other caching plugins removed the cache control headers, except for when i use the litespeed cache plugin (https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/litespeed-cache/) . That keeps the headers in place.
I realize i can set a cache expiry time in cache enabler, but was really looking for a way to set a long expiry for posts which never change and a shorter expiry for pages, such as homepage, which change frequently.
I guess this isn’t possible then with cache enabler if it strips the cache control headers?
That’s correct, it isn’t possible at this time.

Hi Cody,
Do you think it would be possible to get the cache control headers working with Cache Enabler in a future update? Such as by whitelisting the headers?
Or do you know if this would be possible to do in htaccess? You advised me once before on getting the security headers working via htaccess with Cache Enabler, so i’m wondering if something similar is possible?
I find Cache Enabler to be the best caching plugin and i keep coming back to it as it’s very lightweight and simple to use. Just the cache control headers i’m having an issue with.
Thanks
