Iam using the LITESPEED on website cheapandbesthosting.com

I want to try your plugin here.

How to disable cache. The optimization of Litespeed cache plugin is superb. I don’t want to disable that.

What to disable, and what to keep enabled in Litespeed and your plugin?

See this reply from Litespeed team, Iam confused, howcome page cache is related tp page optimization. Is it true?

So your plugin won’t work with Litespeed?

    See this Litespeed thread:

    Hi,
you can try to install and setup the plugin normally. Just don’t enable the “Fallback Cache” system as you already have lightspeed cache and see how things works.

    Dear Saumya
Do you think if the cache of litespeed is enabled and your plugin’s cloudflare cache is also enabled,

will they be able to engage with each other properly. like in case of updations and all?

Can there be some issues with that as in your plugin features, you guys categorically mentioned to disable the cache feature of litespeed.

    – Well from what I have seen, if that plugin is not adding any cache-control header and also not doing anything with cloudflare and just handling server level optimization, then yes it should work properly.

Can there be some issues with that as in your plugin features, you guys categorically mentioned to disable the cache feature of litespeed.

    – Yes that is the recommended approach. We never ever recommend using more than one caching solution on a site as they might conflict with each other.

That’s why I suggested yo to try out this plugin. Just make sure fallback cache is disabled inside this plugin and then check how things are working. Based on that you can take the call.

    Dear Saumya
As your plugin claims to be perfectly running with other plugins like WP total cache and Litespeed etc.

    But these cache plugins says:

“as optimization process could be time/resources consuming so if a page is not cacheable , then it will also bypass the optimization”

Now, this clearly confirms that the stopping the cache function of these plugins would mean NO OPTIMIZATION AT ALL.

    MY REQUEST:

I would now request to please check and help us if the Litespeed or W3total cache, which one would work with CACHE OPTION enabled with your plugin.

It will be a great help for ALL YOUR USERS.

You have not shared your website URL for me to see if cache is working properly or not.
As I stated earlier in case of Lightspeed server level cache – it’s best for you to try seeing if things are working properly while using this plugin.

As I also stated earlier it is not recommended to have more than one caching system on a site.

For example, if you have W3 Total Cache on your site and you would like to use this plugin then you have to disable all caching features in W3 Total Cache and only use that plugin for file modification and use this plugin for caching. But in that case, you will have a better alternative plugin like Autoptimize that will handle stating file optimization/minification instead of going with W3 Total Cache.

    Dear Saumya
You said ” you would like to use this plugin then you have to disable all caching features in W3 Total Cache and only use that plugin for file modification”

But as stated by Litespeed and W3 Total Cache, they are saying that Without enabling Cache, The File modification will NOT WORK.

Your plugin says compatible with W3TOTAL CACHE AND LITESPEED. When you ask to disable its cache and when we disable the cache, its page optimization features are not working, how come your plugin is compatible with them.

When we are disabling the cache of litespeed or w3total cache, the page optimization doesn’t work.

Both Litespeed and w3cache confirmed that to enable page optimization, enabling cache is mandatory

Autoptimize is not as effective as WPRocket or litespeed or W3TOTAL CACHE.

Hence I requested to suggest which one is okay with cache enabled.

Your plugin says compatible with W3TOTAL CACHE AND LITESPEED

    – It’s compatible only with their static file optimization. Means as this is a pure page caching plugin. You can use those plugin for static file optimization but you cannot use them for page caching. As you are using this plugin for page caching. You cannot have more than one page caching system on a site.

I told you have if you wish to use w3total cache you can only use other static file optimization but not page cache.

If you wish to use lightspeed cache, you can try enabling their page caching system and then also try to enable this plugin but make sure Fallback Cache is disabled on this plugin. And then check if things are playing smoothly or not. If things are playing smoothly and cache are proly getting purged then feel free to continue using this configuration.

But similar configuration will definitely not work with W3 Total Cache or WP Rocket as they take access to the header, add their own cache-contro header and behavior. So, this plugin cannot do it’s job.

Autoptimize is not as effective as WPRocket or litespeed or W3TOTAL CACHE.

    – I honestly have no idea what brings you to that conclusion but from my testings I put Autoptimize much higher than WP Rocket or W3 Total Cache. But finally the choice is all yours.
