Hi Ewout,

Got a question. The plugin seems to create new files with seemingly hashed names as aa62b8dbf47b24df65c291a7b33ced62[.php|.ttf|.ufm in the /lib/dompdf/lib/fonts/ folder every now and then. Can you tell me what’s up with this – are these just some cache files that I can ignore?

Reason for asking: I’m using a git repository to push changes from local to my staging environment and I would like to know if I’m safe excluding these files from tracking.

Afaik, these files are only created once and then never updated. These are the fonts that the plugin has downloaded, since the engine needs the files locally on the server. They are linked in the dompdf_font_family_cache.php file, I’m not sure what happens if you remove the files – only one way to find out I guess… If you’re using the default fonts from the plugin, you can safely remove them anyway, but I guess you’re using custom fonts.
