Okay it seems to have worked when I removed the connection first and then added a new API. but it still seems to be caching string queries.

Can I set it so that WPFC never caches string queries?

NOTE: It does NOT cache when admin is logged in. Only caches for everyone else.

if a url contains a query string, the url is not cached.

Hey Emre — thanks. Then do you know what may be the issue? Two weeks ago our pages started being held in 12 hour caches and we don’t know why. Except for when logged in as admin, it’s strange!

Could it be due to using Cloudflare?

I don’t think so, our cloudflare settings haven’t changed. But I’ll try messaging them!

can you tell me the page url please?

    Example: https://getpresently.com/c/card/?event=tamid

You can try leaving a message, you’ll see it doesn’t update for 12 hours. I’ll remove this link once you’ve seen it.

the problem is not caused by wp fastest cache absolutely. If the page was cached by wpfc, there would be a phrase at the bottom of the page as below.

<!– WP Fastest Cache file was created in 0.330816984177 seconds, on 08-01-14 9:01:35 –>
