Cache Not Clearing

    Hi,

    We’re trying to clear our cache, however, it keeps coming back with the same cached files. I’ve tried to delete the files via the plugin and FTP but as soon as the page is reloaded, the original files return.

    I’ve disabled every setting possible within the plugin and purged the cache but they are still showing. I’ve also deleted the plugin via wp-admin and FTP but neither have any impact.

    After using inspect element it shows that the cached CSS file is combining all of the stylesheets on my website (I know this is an option via the plugin), however, we do not have this enabled and it’s causing layout issues.

    Hey @aaroncbw

    I checked your site and you are using CloudFlare, so you have to purge the CF cache in order to see the changes.

    @aaroncbw this is marked as resolved. Did you get it fixed? I’m experiencing the same issue and am anxious to find a fix. The only way I am able to clear the cache is via cPanel, which is rather inconvenient. The SG Optimizer plugin no longer seems to work to clear cache for me.

    5.2.1 appears to have fixed the problem for me…thanks!

    Support told me it was “an issue with the way the static cache is purged for websites that use the www alias and CloudFlare.” Hope this works for you too, @aaroncbw, since you say your site is not using CloudFlare.

    In case this helps someone else…I just noticed that my sites that were experiencing the caching issue are set up in WP/DB to use WWW, but in the SG Manage Account>Installations screen, they are listed without WWW; no noticeable difference in how they are set up in the DNS Zone editor vs the non-problem sites.
