Hi, I use fairly aggressive caching (server-side and Cloudflare), and I was wondering whether it’s safe to enable PayPal/Google/Apple Pay buttons on the product page.

There was a bug in the official PayPal plugin when the “Send line items to PayPal” option was enabled, payments would fail. I wanted to know whether it’s safe to use the plugin now and whether keeping that option enabled is recommended.

    Hello @mcdeth,

Yes, it’s safe to use PayPal/Google/Apple Pay on product pages even with aggressive caching, as long as cart/checkout endpoints aren’t cached.
Sending line items to PayPal is fully supported, and we recommend keeping that option enabled.

If you see anything unexpected, feel free to let us know.
