    Hello,

I love Wordfence. Thank you for the great plugin!

I have the Falcon Performance enabled on several sites, and for over two weeks. Every site I have Falcon Enabled on, I get this notice with I click “Get Cache Stats”.

    Cache Stats

The cache is currently empty. It may be disabled or it may have been recently cleared.”

When I “Clear the Cache” I get this.

    Page Cache Cleared

A total of 0 files were deleted and 0 directories were removed. We cleared a total of 0KB of data in the cache.”

I can see the falcon in the top right.
    Cache options are all unchecked.
    No links are excluded.

Has anyone else experience this? I have a suspicion it might be the file folder permissions (something that Better WordPress Security may have changed). What should the permission be set to on which folders and files? This is just a guess.

Currently ‘wfcache’ is set to 705 as well and the folder it’s in.

A friend is also using Falcon and he has the Stats.

    Thank you for the help!

  • Hi,

The permissions look correct. Have you tried toggling Falcon off and back on? After that, turn on “Message appears as an HTML comment below the closing HTML tag” for debugging.

Let us know if that improves things.

    Thanks!

I tried the plugin. Falcon gives me slightly slower load than W3TC.

I have APC installed and running that on page cache. If I would use disk:enhanced. The Falcon and W3TC would be equal.

Either way, I receive better stats on pingdom and gtmetrix with W3TC. But the speed is what I am looking for.

@marcusfuto: Thanks for the input. APC can make a noticeable difference on servers where it is available.

@nickzee: I see that this post is fairly old — if you are still having this issue and need help let us know. Thanks!
