Cache Timeout

    Hi there,

    Love the plugin. I am using Cache Timeout: 86400 seconds with timer: 2400 seconds. When I use https://requestmetrics.com/resources/tools/http-cache-checker/ to confirm the cache, it shows only 10 minutes. I am not sure how to confirm whether the set values are being used.

    Do I need to enable Cache delivery method =  Expert for these settings to override the defaults?

    That tool checks a different type of caching. It checks how long the browser on your personal machine or phone caches the website or file it just downloaded. It’s not how long your server caches the page.

    Your server will cache the page for 86400 seconds, so a visitor returning to the same page will still see that cached page for that length of time. If they return within ten minutes, the browser will show the page from its own cache and won’t make a request to the server.
