    Hello dear Masteriyo support,

I hope there would be a video to teach how to deal with caching plugin such as wp super cache. I mean a video that shows what exactly we should do when we use Masteriyo for creating course alongside with a caching plugin such as wp super cache. Don’t know how to and when to clear cache. A practical video would be very helpful.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for sharing your feedback.

Right now, we do have a written guide that walks through how to configure WP Super Cache with Masteriyo, including which pages to exclude and when caching can cause issues: https://docs.masteriyo.com/faqs/configuring-caching-plugins#wp-super-cache

As a general rule of thumb, you’ll want to clear cache after things like:

    • changing course access or enrollment settings
    • updating lessons, quizzes, or course content
    • making changes to login, checkout, or account pages

We totally agree that a practical, step-by-step video would make this much easier to follow. Creating video guides (along with more detailed docs) for popular caching plugins is something we plan to cover in the future.

Really appreciate you taking the time to suggest this — it helps us improve the product and the documentation.

    Regards,
    Aashil

Thanks for the explanation dear Aashil but unfortunately I’m still not sure how to use it. Because in the documentation it’s write to exclude some page, and here is your explanation you said to clear cache those pages. I don’t know what to do. That’s why it would be great if the team record a short video to show how to enable the wp super cache and configure and when to clear cache.

    Thank you

Normally, if you exclude those pages from the caching mention in the docs, it will works.
