Hi, I am using another caching for my site and deactivated this function from wp optimize. However, it seems that it is still active. What can I do to remove this? Thanks. Sophie

  • Hello,

Please could you temporarily reactivate page caching here Cache >> Enable page caching and then click the Purge cache button. After this please disable the page caching feature again and retest.

Hi, thanks for your quick response. For some reason it does not work:

“Could not turn on the WP_CACHE constant in wp-config.php. Check your permissions.”

Would it help to just delete and reinstall the plugin?

Please could you turn off caching on your other plugin first and then retry the steps.

Hi, its still the same. Maybe there are restrictions from the hoster.

Please could you check the file permissions for wp-config.php? It is located in the main root directory of your WordPress website. It should have permissions of rw-r–r– (0644)

You can usually check this value using your hosting panel File Manager or an FTP client. Your host may also be able to help you to locate this and if necessary change the permissions to reflect the above value.
