Hi @swiftmodders,
First of all there is no way for this plugin to randomly disable the cache. When the plugin is updated to the latest version at the time of plugin update the plugin disable and enable the cache just once and that’s it.
Besides if your cache is getting disabled the you should not be seeing cache HIT. Can you share the following so that I can take a deeper look at your website?
- Your website URL
- Screenshot of the plugin settings page
- Screenshot of the Page Rule section inside the CF dashboard

Hi Saumya,
I understand it sounds odd, but that’s what I had been seeing. I stabilized this a bit by disabling the option “Force cache bypassing for backend with an additional Cloudflare page rule.” When I disabled that option, I no longer saw the issues where the page cache would randomly show as disabled. Then, I went into Cloudflare and added a rule for bypassing the cache for wp-admin.
This may sound silly, but is it safe to share these settings publicly? If possible, I would rather share my settings via an email or ticketing system.
Best,
John

Hi @swiftmodders,
That seems really odd. You can definitely share the details here. But if you want to share it secretly, you can also use https://safenote.co/ to share the details. But do note that it might be Monday before I get to see it.
Then again what you are saying makes no sense. It seems something else is creating conflict on your website.
Hi @isaumya ,
I’m honestly not sure what happened. I tried installing and starting fresh, but no luck. I also noticed that the cf-cache-status was not showing HIT anymore, so something must have gone wrong. I actually ended up disabling and removing this plugin and re-installed the default Cloudflare plugin for APO.
It’s working as expected now. I did like the plugin while I had it, but I just couldn’t get it to work fully. Maybe some conflict with WPEngine, but no idea.
Thanks for the help anyway!
Best,
John

Hi @swiftmodders,
I totally understand but without looking at your website it would be impossible for me to see what’s going on your website. There is only so much I can do base of guess.
