Caching issue?

    Hi,
    I can’t figure out a solution for this issue: I’ve made some changes to a FAQ (some text bold). In my regular browser (Chrome), everything is fine, and also on my iPad.
    But with other browsers (I tried Edge, Explorer and Firefox) the page does not seem to refresh. I cleared cache both on admin side and front, but no difference.
    Any idea what could cause this issue?

    Hi marionfw,

    Did you put any HTML/CSS code in any of your FAQs to make the CSS changes? If yes, then it is likely that there’s a missing closing div tag or something like that. If you added the CSS (under “Settings” –> “Basic” –> “Custom CSS” in your plugin dashboard) for the bold text then could you tell us the CSS classes that you are trying to make changes to? We will go through it and provide you the applicable CSS code after performing cross browser testing.

    Hi,
    thanks for fast response. I did not use any html or css code in individual FAQs. I only added custom css in the FAQ settings that you provided earlier today (https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/customizing-submission-form/).

    Also that would not explain why in the Chrome browser, everything is okay, and other browser don’t seem to update.

    Now I just had another look to this page in Edge an Explorer, and to my surprise, they are refreshed. I still can’t figure out why some browsers apparently have a delay: could this be an issue in WP Super Cache?

    It could definitely be related to your caching plugin. They can cache the content of shortcodes, so it doesn’t render the content anew each time, but renders it the first time and then shows the same content each subsequent load. You can test this by trying both to clear the cache in the plugin and by temporarily deactivating it to see if the new content then renders.
