I did try switching to Twenty Nineteen Version: 1.3
Same Issue
I downgraded the plugin to 4.6.7 and it still does not work.
I have an error now in the logs
PHP Warning: count(): Parameter must be an array or an object that implements Countable in Section.php on line 204
I have switched back to 4.8.2
I also switched back to sites’ original theme
I installed a new event calendar plugin to test functionality, The All-in-One Event Calendar from Timely
Its pagination works fine…

Hey there,
Thanks for reaching out 😀
The error I’m seeing in the browser console:
Failed to load https://www.adirondackraptors.org/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php: Request header field X-Requested-With is not allowed by Access-Control-Allow-Headers in preflight response.
Appears that something is conflicting with AJAX which is used for pagination.
Since you’ve already tried another theme, can you try disabling all other plugins?
Take care,
Ed 🤘
