    Help Please!!

    The calendar doesn’t display on my site. It only shows the archive page. When I click read more, it only shows the final event entered into my calendar. If I then click on all events, it takes me back to the archive page.

    Where have I gone wrong?

    I believe this can be fixed by heading over to Events > Settings > Display and trying different events templates.

    Thank you. I selected all 3 enable event views options – list, month and day and that fixed it.

    Now the widget is showing with a transparent background despite all background settings set to white. Any suggestions? i don’t want to go near CSS if I can avoid it.

    Hi @amandanorton

    By default, calendar’s background is transparent. However, you can change that from Appearance > Customize > The Events Calendar.

    I have that set as white and it’s still showing as transparent in the widget only.

    It’s possible that the issue might be related to the cache. If you have any caching plugins or server-side caching, you could try disabling them temporarily to see if it helps.

    Additionally, I noticed that you have the SiteGround Optimizer plugin installed. You may want to configure it according to the recommendations provided in our knowledgebase article. You can find it at https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/siteground-optimizer/.
