Hi there,
Thank you so much for getting in touch and for your kind feedback – it is greatly appreciated.
Just to confirm, do you mean that you would like to allow users on your website that do not have access to the WordPress dashboard to create tasks and projects? The Pro add-on includes the Frontend Project Manager feature which allows you to do this and allows you to setup the customized frontend page where you can allow users to create tasks for the calendar and you can manage permissions etc.
For more information on the Pro add-on please visit: https://zephyr-one.com
I hope this helps and look forward to hearing back from you.
Thanks for your time 🙂
Best regards,
Dylan
Hi there,
Yes exactly – I mean when users do not have access to WordPress dashboard. They register with Ultimate Member and the private area page is disabled but on a frontend mode where calendar is display with a shortcode. So as you mean, this can be done on PRO version, right?
I will check out features. Do you have a pre-sale questions email or forum on the official website?
Thanks in advance
Hi there Dylan,
Yes – I may have not explained well. Currently I am using this shortcode to display the task on a frontend with the basic version.
I am also using another shortcode to display the calendar [zephyr_calendar] on the frontend. This calendar shows the task timing, but my question is if it is possible to allow users to add tasks itself on this calendar but on the frontend, not accessing the WordPress backend.
Let me know,
Thanks!
Hi there,
Thanks for the response.
Yes, users can add new tasks to the calendar if you add this shortcode above or below the calendar or anywhere:
[zephyr_new_task_button]
This will render a button in the frontend titled ‘Add Task’ and when clicked it will open the popup where the user can enter the task name, description, start date, end date and more.
Is this what you mean? Please do let me know if I understood correctly.
Thanks 🙂
Dylan
