Calendar preview layout broken after recent WordPress updates
-
The calendar layout shown on the meetings preview pages is currently broken/distorted and it affects usability in the website. The structure and formatting of the calendar do not render correctly anymore, even though it was working properly before the latest WordPress updates. Could you please let me know whether there is a fix or update planned or if there is a recommended workaround in the meantime?

Hello @daniela0830,
Thank you for reaching out and sharing the details.
We’d like to let you know that in the latest version of Timetics, we haven’t found any such calendar layout distortion issue. We also tested it from our end, and everything appears to be rendering correctly.
Since the issue is occurring on your website specifically, it may be caused by a theme or plugin conflict.
To help us understand the problem better, could you please share a screenshot or a short screen recording showing the distortion? That will allow us to investigate more accurately and provide the right solution.
You can check the landing and reach us more so that we can check your site more deeply.
We’ll be happy to assist you further.

Hi@daniela0830,
Thank you for your response and for sharing the screenshots.
This is definitely not supposed to happen, and we haven’t seen this kind of oversized icon issue in the calendar preview before. It may be caused by a conflict with your active theme or custom styling.
Could you please let us know which theme you are currently using?
Also, if possible, could you try switching temporarily to a default WordPress theme (like Twenty Twenty-Four) just for testing, and then check if the issue still appears? This will help us confirm whether it’s coming from the theme side.
Please check our landing and reach us more so that we can help you more deeply. Feel free to update us with your findings, and we’ll be happy to assist you further.

M MahbubAlso please try to deactivate the Timetics and clean your cache then again reactivate to check that if its cache issue or not?
Hi,
Thank you for your guidance.
My active theme is Neve. I conducted the requested tests both on my live site and in a local MAMP environment to avoid affecting production.
On my local MAMP environment:
- I switched temporarily to a default WordPress theme (Twenty Twenty-Four / Twenty Twenty-Five) and the calendar preview worked correctly.
- I then tested with Astra, and the issue appeared again.
- This suggests the problem may not be limited to Neve specifically.
On my live site:
- I deactivated Timetics, cleared the site cache completely, and reactivated the plugin as you suggested but the calendar preview remains broken.
At this point, it does appear to be theme-related. However, changing the theme would be a major structural modification for my website, so I would really like to exhaust all possible solutions before taking that step.
Could you please advise specifically what adjustments I could try while keeping Neve active?
For example:
- Are there specific CSS rules I could override?
- Are there layout settings that commonly interfere with the calendar rendering?
- Is there a way to isolate the calendar styles to prevent theme interference?
Thank you in advance for your guidance.
Best regards,
DanielaHi @daniela0830,
Thank you for the detailed update and for running those tests so thoroughly — we really appreciate the effort.
We also checked the calendar preview: https://prnt.sc/39xtEA8-c3IA on our end using the latest version of Timetics, and everything is working correctly without any issues. This suggests the problem may be caused by a conflict with your theme’s styling or possibly another plugin/script running on your site, rather than Timetics alone.
Since theme switching isn’t an ideal option for you, the best next step would be for our technical team to take a closer look directly.
It would be great if you could visit our landing page and reach us more there, so one of our agents can investigate your site more deeply and help identify the exact conflict.
We’ll do our best to resolve this without requiring any major changes to your website structure.
Best Regards,
M MahbubHi. I can confirm this Preview behaviour on Astra with all other plugins removed, so it appears to be a theme issue. Did you find a solution to the problem?
After a bit more research, it seems that the Preview function does not load the css (/timetics/assets/css/frontend.css and /timetics/assets/css/vendor.css), whereas a regular page with a meeting shortcode does. I have added the stylesheets manually, which fixes the issue. But you guys probably figured this out weeks ago 🙂
Hi @daniela0830,
Opps, sorry about that! You are absolutely right, it sounds like the previewer is missing its style cues while the regular shortcodes are working just fine.
We really appreciate you digging into the assets and finding the specific cause; that kind of detail is a huge help for our dev team. We have officially added this to our current sprint to ensure it gets fixed properly so you don’t have to rely on that manual CSS workaround for long.
Thanks for your patience and for sharing your findings to help us improve Timetics!
Best regards,
M Mahbub
