Calender view doesn’t sync with input boxes

When I use the date picker or input boxes in the pinpoint booking plugin to choose a date for a new reservation the calendar view reverts back to the current month, complicating the booking process.

Is it possible to prevent this from happening and ensure the calendar view is on the same month as the dates entered through the input boxes ?
