Hi, is it possible to call your function that updates the featured image from my template? I need this because i create posts from the front-end and the image isn’t updated until I save the post again from admin panel.

How do you create posts from the frontend? With which plugin?

Actually it’s a theme. Classiads

it uses wp_insert_post to create posts

Try in file quick-featured-images-defaults.php the class Quick_Featured_Images_Defaults method add_featured_image(). Maybe that helps.
