After installing and enablig plugin, widgets managing was not working any more in WP 3.9.8. smart-countdown-fx=1.3.3

Using shortcode in document, gives me this error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_customize_preview() in /var/www/vhosts/<FQ-domain-name>/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/smart-countdown-fx/smartcountdownfx.php on line 146

Hi, I think you are using an outdated WordPress version where is_customize_preview() function is not defined. However, try to update to version 1.3.4 and check if the issue is still there.
    I would appreciate your feedback.
    Regards.

Hi, now I get counter in post using shortcodes without exception, but there is no countdown now (e.g. no countdown for seconds – no “animation”)…

Widgets are still blocked – for all of them. If I disable Smart Countdown FX, widgets can be managed normaly.

    Hi Bostjan,
no countdown for seconds – no “animation” – is likely to be a javascript error that blocks scripts running in your browser.
If you have your WP site online and live, please give me a link and I will check. Generally that could be two kind of issues:

    • Conflict with another plugin/widget
    • Old WP version which doesn’t load required scripts

Easy for me just to say: “Please, upgrade! Current WP version is 4.2.4 and WP team says that developers must support the latest version plus one major release back – 4.1” You are using 3.9.x
However, I cannot guarantee WP upgrade solves the problem if the reason is a conflict with another plugin.
Sorry for all these variables in solution, I would like to solve the issue, so that all customers can use Smart Countdown FX.
Thanks in advance for your feedback.
    Regards, Alex
