Call to undefined function wp_doing_ajax()

BeaverBuilder Lite plugin auto-updated from 2.0.5 to 2.0.6 and website crashed with PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_doing_ajax() in beaver-builder-lite-version/includes/compatibility.php on line 322
I’ve done a bit of research and this function appears to only be available from WordPress 4.7 but the plugin is compatible from version 4.5.
How do I fix this issue?

I have the same error and can no longer access the admin panel/site, at all. Can I sideload the unzipped files from 2.0.6.2 directly into the plugins directory to resolve? Will I lose any customizations or functionality?
