Call to undefined function wp_remote_request()?

    Hello,

    While I was just about to finish installing WordPress 2.7, I pressed the “Continue” button and got a fatal PHP error:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_remote_request() in …/blog/wp-includes/update.php

    I went to my blog’s front page, and got the same error.

    Is anybody else having this problem, or is it just me? What can I do to fix this?
