Can Apache be re-installed over existing non-functioning version?

    After 4 years my Apache 1.3.33 (Win32) has become corrupted. I do not know how. It was installed as part of WAMP 1.4.3.

    It will not “Start” as a service, so I cannot access even MySQL, let alone my WP 2.9.1.

    What is the correct procedure to re-install Apache without breaking anything else?
