Can I remove Advanced Custom Fields?

First, it is recommend you back up site before making any changes so that you can roll back just in case.

To make check how ACF is used in your setup you can search for ACF specific functions such as the_field() and get_field().

To deactivate the plugin, you can switch to wordpress stock theme like Twenty Twenty Three then deactivate ACF.
