Can not create a link without atom
-
I want to create RSS links so that I can automatically upload them in batches on Pinterest. However, the links I generate through this plugin cannot meet Pinterest’s requirements because they always have Atom tags. How can I generate RSS links without Atom tags?

Thanks for reaching out!
Could you kindly provide the link you are generating? This will help us investigate the exact Atom tag in question, and we’ll be able to guide you to find a possible solution.
Thank you, and I look forward to your reply!
Hi,
No problem. I can give you one link: https://medikaa.com/product-category/nitrile-gloves/page/2/feed
The following is the feedback from interest:
Please note that “Atom format” is a type of XML format used for syndicating content, often in the context of web feeds. However, we currently don’t support Atom. We support RSS 2.* and RSS 1.* (RDF) formats.
Upon checking your XML file, I found out that your feed is using Atom. Although the feed is in RSS version 2, it includes Atom namespaces, which Pinterest doesn’t support. I suggest reaching out to your web developer to modify your RSS feed. Kindly see the screenshot below:

Regarding your second question, you can create one or two RSS feed links depending on your needs or how you’d like to set up your boards. If you’d like to post an image to two boards, you will need to create multiple RSS feeds for separate boards.
Please note that your last ingestion attempt on Jan 8, 2025, had a total of 87 items, but 12 of these items had errors. Most of these errors are due to duplicate images.
This means that there are already Pins on that board for these images.
Once these issues have been addressed, your RSS feeds should start ingesting properly again. Please help me, thanks!
Chris
Thank you for getting back to us and providing additional information.
Upon reviewing the feed, I found that it is generated by WordPress, not RSS Aggregator. You can confirm this by checking the
<generator>tag, which in this RSS feed shows:<generator>https://ww.wp.xz.cn/?v=6.7.1</generator>For clarification, the RSS feeds generated by RSS Aggregator can be found here:
https://medikaa.com/product-category/nitrile-gloves/wprss/
Both feeds are using Atom, and unfortunately, there is currently no hook or filter available to modify the custom RSS feed (/wprss) generated by the plugin. However, we understand how important it is to have more flexibility, and we have noted this as a consideration for inclusion in Aggregator 5.0.
In the meantime, you should be able to modify the RSS feed generated by WordPress. I recommend reaching out to your web developer to make the necessary adjustments to the WordPress-generated feed.
Thank you for your understanding. Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Hello, I made this website by myself. I don’t understand code, so I can’t solve this problem by myself. Can this problem be solved after the plug-in is upgraded? So that I can solve this problem more conveniently.
Thank you for getting back to us!
At this time, we do not have an ETA for when the ability to modify the custom RSS feed will be available in WP RSS Aggregator. However, we have noted your request as a valuable consideration for future development.
Given that this functionality isn’t currently supported and you don’t know how to code, reaching out to Codeable could be a good option if you need this resolved quickly. They specialize in WordPress customizations and may be able to assist you in implementing the changes you need.
Please let us know if you have any other questions or if there’s anything else we can do to assist you.
