Can other developers support this plugin?

Hello,

is it possible, that someone else support this plugin. I think, it’s a pitty, to loose this plugin because it works so great.

If it is possible, I would like to be this developer. Can anyone explain me, how I can be the owner of this plugin? I wrote the developer a mail, but I didn’t get an answer. Because I need this plugin for a customer, I always need to have an actual version.
