can re-activate

I had some plugin issues and had to deactivate this plugin, but now for some reason it won’t re-activate. I tried to update to the latest version and it doesnt help, I also manually downloaded and uploaded the files through FTP and it wont re-activate either. Is there something I can change so I can turn this back on?
