Imsanity is a plugin that on upload will resize large images to a certain max width specified.
As i understand this plugin can do the same plus some more things like strip metadata.
Can i safely remove imsanity and use this plugin instead? i mean it’s the same function right? Just checking.

Yup, it can do the same resizing that Imsanity does, plus fully compresses your images.

This is great news. I want to get it to work but i’m stuck on the exec() not enabled issue.
I’ve checked my php.ini and there are no functions being blocked.
I’ve been reading online for hours trying to find a way to enable it but no luck yet.
My hosting will not help because it’s an unmanaged plan. Do you happen to know where can i look for it on CentOS? (i think it’s same as redhat).

I know this thread is resolved but if you can help me get the plugin running it would be very kind of you!

    Cheers!

Not 100% sure, since I’m more familiar with Debian/Ubuntu. At any rate, you want to check the disable_functions setting in /etc/php.ini or any of the files within /etc/php.d/

If you still can’t find it, follow the instructions here to create an info.php file: https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-install-linux-apache-mysql-php-lamp-stack-on-centos-7

And then send me the link to that file via https://ewww.io/contact-us/
Don’t post it here, as it may contain info you don’t want to be displayed on a public forum.
