Can this plugin be configured to allow users to upload PDF files? I see it supports image uploads, but I need something that will also accommodate PDFs.

Hi, the free version allows image uploads only, but the Pro version can do any file type (including PDF) that is supported by WordPress, listed here:

http://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/Function_Reference/get_allowed_mime_types#Default_allowed_mime_types
