Can we remove the plugin after?

If you remove the plugin, Genesis schema will re-appear on your site. The plugin must be active to work.

I recommend using the plugin though, as Genesis will likely make changes to how schema is disabled (given the popular request), and I’ll update the plugin to use the new method when needed.
