• I have a client who wants to consolidate 3 sites into one

Could there be a menu at the top that allowed customers to select site1, site2 and site3 that would make the menu bar and the categories different for each site and still be controlled by one admin office?

Any examples of this I could see?

  • Look into child themes…

Or you do it all with categories – create category site1, site2 and site3, then create and design category-1.php, category-2.php and category-3.php.
Subcategories let you then create the menus for each category with subcategories.

Can anybody recommend a template designer that could do this if I provided the artwork?

If you want, click on my username (brings you to my website) and use the contact form to send me a rough draft of what needs to be done, ideally with links to the 3 sites that need consolidating. I’ll then send you a quote.
