can wphpbb do this?

    I am trying to build a bridge between my WP blog and phpbb forum. I came across a plugin called wphpbb which has been pretty useful. Any post on my forum is automatically posted to the forum.

    I know that you can make any and every link go straight to the forum post from the blog main page, but that means there cant be “additional content” so I would have to make super huge long posts on the homepage.

    I currently am doing something similar to this with joomla board, where it posts the first 5 comments on the single post page. Does anyone know if this is possible to do with wphpbb?

    and finally the forum (also being tested out) is test forum

    wphpbb can pull and display the posts from the forums into the single page template, though phpbb is handling the comments not wp.

    I assume you could limit the number of posts on the page, but you would have to manually edit the code.

    I unfortunately am so busy teaching full time and doing corpus projects that I cant spare any time to even complete v3.0.
