    Hi Tobbe

I have a sync problem that I hope you can help with.

My client sells bulk products online, and also in her bricks and mortar shop. These products (sultanas, flour, sugar etc) are sold in her online woocommerce shop in increments of 100g, 150g, 200g, 350g etc.

But when customers go to the bricks and mortar shop, they buy the same products in scooped amounts at a cost per 100g. For example 2 scoops might weigh at 765g and the customer is charged accordingly on the izettle for example £19/kg x 765g = £14.54.

We therefore end up with two inventories – one that is on Woocommerce and one that is on izettle.

Is there a way to have the same product (say loose flour) sold:
    – on Woocommerce in increments of 100g
    – on the izettle in units of cost per kg?
    – have both types merged into the same listing on woocommerce for future syncs?

At the moment I’m having to list two versions of the same product which is going to make it tricky to track the inventory.

I look forward to hearing back from you.

    Thank you

    Hello,

I understand that it is a tricky situation and I do not see any easy way out. Possibly you could have one set of products with the cost per 100g in WooCommerce and do some adaptation of the ordering process in WooCommerce to prevent the customers to order anything else than 100,150,200 etc

    Hi Tobbe

    Thanks for your speedy reply.

What would be more helpful, is if I could have the 2 ways of selling the product – – one as custom units of 100g, 200g etc
    – one as by weight ie: $3.20 per kg

Is it possible to have both measures in the same woocommerce listing?

    Hi,

    Yes, I agree.

Possibly you could set up the product to be sold in g and then use
https://woocommerce.com/products/advanced-product-quantity to set intervals in the webshop.

Is there a way your plugin could help us avoid having to keep 2 different inventories?
