I have repeatedly found issues with new websites when I wanted to load Postie. At first GoDaddy Hosting did not seem to be an issue. Gmail emails seemed to be universally OK to use with Postie. On more current sites Postie would not retrieve the emails from Gmail so I created a CPanel Email and it worked. I Just renamed a website, upgraded it with a SSL certificate and now I can’t get it to work with Postie. I tried creating a CPanel email because that worked before but now GoDaddy changed something and it won’t work anymore.
I have one GoDaddy site that still hits a gmail and works fine. If I try to hit that same email with my other site, I get an error “There was an error connecting to the server No route to host.”
Working site is wp 4.9.6 and Postie 1.9.18, non-working WP 4.9.8 Postie 1.9.24
Is there a way to roll back the Postie version to see if that would correct my issue.?
I really don’t want to give up on one of my favorite plug-ins.

Update:I learned today if you have a GoDaddy account you can not have a Cpanel Email and an Exchange Email at the same time. The Cpanel emails will work with Postie with the current versions of Postie and WP. I was able to create a Cpanel Email on on another website I have where I do not use other emails. I will be able to use this as the Postie email. This new email is on an SSL website so the mailserver is very simple, just “YourDomain.com”
I get to keep using Postie..Yea
