• I cannot get into my WordPress site at all…admin site either…keep getting error ‘Parse error: parse error, unexpected ‘<‘, expecting ‘]’ in /home/revoltam/public_html/wp-content/themes/BurninR/ads.php on line 72′

I was sure I had version 2.0.1 however in my file search I only see two for 1.0.5 an it will not let me delete them 🙁

It is not listed in the add/remove programs at all…I did a scan and found I had a keylogger on my computer…Wordpress is the last downloaded program, and I had heard it could have a keylogger on it?

At any rate, I would like to delete anything to do with WordPress and load the new 2.0.2

How do I delete those old loads? Will I lose everything I had done on the site so far when I load 2.0.2? I am not very techie inclined, and do not udnerstand a lot of the jargon…but I do need and appreciate any help I can get in this matter…Thanks…

  • First thing: a keylogger on your computer did NOT come from the wordpress distro unless you downloaded it from somewhere besides the download link at the top of this page.

    Next: clean up your machine.

Then: download the 2.0.2 distro from the download link at the top of this page, and follow the instructions to upload it to your webspace and install.

Thanks…I kind of figured out it most likely was not from the download…I downloaded it from Bluehost using Fantastico…I already dumped it and reloaded, but all I could find on Bluehost was version 2.0.1

So, I will go in tomorrow and dump that and load if from your site here…may sound like a dimb question, but will it affect it being on Bluehost…do I need to do anything different , like upload it to Bluehost after I install it from this site…as I said…not a techie…I guess if we all were then we would not need those who are. 🙂

Loading it with Fantastico was simple…not so sure about what to do with it loading it from here. I don’t know why Bluehost does not offer the latest version…

    So appreciate the info…Thanks…
