• I installed the app and begun to turn on/off options for the editor user role. When testing I noticed that the Editor user can no longer access any pages in the admin area. one user logs in the admin bar the top disappears and entering any direct URLs redirects to the homepage. I’ve now unchecked all check boxes, nothing. I then uninstalled per your option at the bottom of the settings page, deleted the plugin and still have the same problem.

I also checked the “Allow page access” but that too doesn’t work. I’ve attached a screen shot of the settings page for reference.

Is there something I’m missing? Do I need to go into DB and remove something? If so, can you tell me what I am looking for?

  • Hi @nimeck,

Maybe you did config something wrong with this plugin.

I think you need to uninstall this plugin first before deactivate it, to do that, active Adminimize again, go to settings -> Adminimize -> scroll to Uninstall Options, check the box and press Delete Options

    Hope it helps you,

Thank you for your comment. As mentioned in my note I did try that, 2x. Did not help.

    Hi @nimeck,

Sorry for late reply, could you please send your backup config file of Adminimize?
With this file, I can help you identify your problem 🙂

You can get backup file by go setting Adminimize -> Export/Import Options -> Export

    Cheers,

Have you tried to deactivated the plugin. If the is not active, than should it works, the access of the dashboard. If not, it is a problem from other side, not from the plugin.

The dashboard is only inactive, if you hide the menu item Dashboard on a role.

I have tried to deactivate, as mentioned above. I even uninstalled and it still wouldn’t load dashboard.
