Cannot access "Gallery settings" Link

    I am unable to get to the “Gallery settings (Click here for more settings)” link when editing a gallery. Individual image settings can be modified, but the gallery settings are not accessible.

    The cursor changes to to the ‘hand’ symbol, indicating that the link is clickable, but nothing happens when it is clicked. I am logged on as an administrator, and have followed *all* of the suggested debugging processes, including removing all other plugins.

    A similar issue was raised in https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/gallery-more-settings-option-does-not-work?replies=6 , but you declined to answer the secondary posters apparently legitimate concerns because his issue was slightly different than the OP’s problem.

    @thlconal – What settings are you using under Gallery > Other Options > Roles & Capabilities? and, what user role are you logged in with when you cannot see the Gallery Settings panel?
