    Hello everyone,,,

I’ve been running a multisite install with subdomains for years. Recently attempted to finally make the switch to SSL. I have my main site fairly operational (still working on a mixed content error) using the Bluehost SSL certificate.

For my subdomain sites, I’ve updated them to https://subdomain.example.com manually and via search/replace plugins to ensure I’ve got all the changes, but if I try to access them, I get an error that index.php can’t be located.

    What am I missing?

Within Bluehost, a wildcard domain is setup, not the individual sites – which has worked to date…

  • I’d suggest contacting BlueHost about this. The solution is different from host to host and personally, I’ve not worked with BlueHost servers in a long time but I have a feeling if you are using their Free SSL option provided within cPanel it is set up incorrectly.
